Key Responsibilities

Litigate employment cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination
Draft pleadings, manage discovery, prepare motions, and attend administrative hearings
Handle or assist with depositions, mediations, and client consultations
Draft and update employment policies, handbooks, and agreements
Provide legal counsel on compliance, workplace policies, investigations, and day-to-day HR issues
Collaborate with firm partners, associates, and clients across industries

Qualifications

3–6 years of labor and employment law experience post-JD
Defense-side litigation background in federal and state court
Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Prior experience with administrative hearings and depositions is preferred
Admitted to the New York Bar or eligible for admission
Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
Candidates with unstable work histories or temp/contract-only experience will not be considered

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $140,000 – $190,000 (commensurate with experience)
Annual discretionary bonus
