Top Tier Reps is hiring an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney in New York, NY to support one of our Am Law 200 clients—a nationally recognized firm with a strong reputation for excellence in employment law. Key Responsibilities
- Litigate employment cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination
- Draft pleadings, manage discovery, prepare motions, and attend administrative hearings
- Handle or assist with depositions, mediations, and client consultations
- Draft and update employment policies, handbooks, and agreements
- Provide legal counsel on compliance, workplace policies, investigations, and day-to-day HR issues
- Collaborate with firm partners, associates, and clients across industries
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of labor and employment law experience post-JD
- Defense-side litigation background in federal and state court
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Prior experience with administrative hearings and depositions is preferred
- Admitted to the New York Bar or eligible for admission
- Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
- Candidates with unstable work histories or temp/contract-only experience will not be considered
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Range: $140,000 – $190,000 (commensurate with experience)
