Our client, a leading hospital system in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead the Mother Baby / Obstetrics unit. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring high-quality patient care, exceptional service delivery, and effective management of day-to-day clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Mother Baby/Obstetrics unit, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of care.
  • Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure a safe and compassionate care experience for patients and families through evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in resource planning, budgeting, and personnel management to support departmental goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field.
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
  • Clinical experience in obstetrics, postpartum, or labor & delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience as a Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager in OB, Postpartum, or L&D.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a healthcare-related field.
  • Proven success in leading teams and improving patient outcomes in a maternal-child health setting.
