Our client, a leading hospital system in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead the Mother Baby / Obstetrics unit. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring high-quality patient care, exceptional service delivery, and effective management of day-to-day clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the Mother Baby/Obstetrics unit, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of care.
Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Ensure a safe and compassionate care experience for patients and families through evidence-based practices.
Monitor compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement projects and strategic initiatives.
Assist in resource planning, budgeting, and personnel management to support departmental goals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field.
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
Clinical experience in obstetrics, postpartum, or labor & delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience as a Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager in OB, Postpartum, or L&D.
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a healthcare-related field.
Proven success in leading teams and improving patient outcomes in a maternal-child health setting.

Competitive salary range: $154,000 – $240,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
