Our client, a respected Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Associate with 3–6 years of post-law school experience to join its growing team in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex labor and employment matters in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend clients in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination
  • Handle all phases of employment litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
  • Support and participate in administrative hearings and depositions
  • Draft and revise employment handbooks, policies, and procedures
  • Deliver workplace training sessions for clients on employment best practices
  • Provide day-to-day counseling to clients on employee relations and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of post-law school experience in labor and employment law
  • Strong litigation background, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion work
  • Experience with depositions and administrative hearings is a plus
  • Skilled in advising clients and delivering clear, practical guidance
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
  • New York Bar admission required or ability to waive in
  • Strong academic background required
  • Contract or temp-only backgrounds will not be considered

Salary & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $140,000 – $190,000
