We are seeking a Manager focused on Congressional Affairs to join our Federal Policy, Advocacy, and Consulting (FPAC) practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of public policy issues, including energy and environment, manufacturing, financial services, trade, and food/agribusiness.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in a legislative role on Capitol Hill or equivalent public policy experience. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, track, and summarize legislation, committee activity, reports, and related policy documents
  • Draft advocacy materials such as bill summaries, infographics, letters, and other client communications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Congressional offices and engage in direct advocacy on behalf of multiple clients
  • Support the appropriations process, including preparation and submission of programmatic and project funding requests
  • Collaborate with attorneys, consultants, and clients across multiple concurrent policy initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a legislative role on Capitol Hill or equivalent public policy experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex legislative and policy content
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Familiarity with the federal appropriations process and legislative procedures
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to engage on a broad range of policy issues
  • Candidates must have a strong academic background and stable experience to be considered

Salary & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience
  • Bonus: Discretionary bonus based on performance
