Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm

is seeking an associate with 4-8 years of experience to enhance their Renewable Energy and/or Energy Transition Development and Finance practices in the San Diego, Los Angeles, or Houston offices. The successful candidate should have:

Comprehensive experience in renewable energy and/or energy transition sectors, especially in solar, wind, storage, and other renewable energy technologies, or in hydrogen, carbon, renewable fuels, and related energy transition initiatives.
A proven track record in representing and advising on complex development and finance transactions, including both equity and debt financing.
Mergers and acquisitions experience.
Proficiency in negotiating and drafting project-related documents, such as EPC and BOP contracts, equipment procurement agreements, O&M agreements, and similar legal documents.
Strong capabilities in drafting and managing projects efficiently.

Additional qualifications:

Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar or Texas State Bar, depending on the office location.

Compensation: $270,000 to $420,000, plus bonus opportunities

Candidates should have a strong academic background and experience at an Am 100/200 firm or a comparable organization.
