Our client is looking for a trusts and estates associate to join its department of 22 lawyers. With trusts and estates partners based in Connecticut, New York, and Florida, this role offers a compelling opportunity for professional growth.

The role entails substantial responsibility, including direct client interaction. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional organizational, verbal, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

3 to 7 years of experience in estate planning, including sophisticated drafting, estate and trust administration, and estate and tax compliance.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex matters efficiently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for client interaction and document preparation.
Analytical mindset to assess legal issues and develop effective solutions.
Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with clients.
Preferred: LLM degree, enhancing expertise in trusts and estates law.
