We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of our Community Physicians Group. This critical role provides operational oversight and leadership across a network of physician practices, driving performance, patient satisfaction, and provider engagement within an ambulatory care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and daily operational oversight for the Community Physicians Group.
- Develop and implement business plans, including SWOT analyses and financial proformas.
- Manage financial performance, human resources, and administrative operations for multiple practices.
- Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
- Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to improve practice efficiency, provider satisfaction, and patient outcomes.
- Lead through influence across a matrixed organizational structure, aligning with system-wide goals and initiatives.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Health or Business Administration preferred.
- In lieu of a Master’s, a Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of progressive practice management experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in physician practice management or related healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, HR, operations, and strategic planning within an ambulatory care environment.
- Proven ability to write business plans, perform SWOT analyses, interpret financial statements, and develop financial forecasts.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety) or CMPE (Certified Medical Practice Executive).
- Experience navigating and succeeding within a matrixed organization.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to lead by influence.
