A prestigious Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Court & Calendar Researcher to join its docketing team. This hybrid position (3 days onsite) is available in multiple major U.S. offices (see locations above) and supports high-stakes litigation by maintaining the firm’s master calendar and conducting research related to court procedures and civil litigation deadlines. The role reports to the Court & Calendar Resources Manager and works closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.
Locations: Atlanta, Boston, Century City (LA), Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Downtown LA, NYC, Orange County, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco, Washington DC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite).
Please note: Only candidates with stable work history and relevant law firm docketing experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain firm, team, and attorney calendars in line with legal deadlines and procedural requirements
- Research, interpret, and apply court rules to ensure proper docketing of litigation timelines
- Calculate critical dates using legal calendaring software
- Respond to case status inquiries and court procedure questions from legal staff
- Manage administrative duties tied to e-filing systems and service platforms
- Serve as liaison between the docketing department and internal teams
- Assist with special projects and work overtime as needed
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in legal calendaring tools such as CompuLaw, PATTSY, and PACER
- Strong knowledge of Federal and State Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing protocols
- Familiarity with U.S. Bankruptcy and IP court rules is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional experience required
- Minimum 2 years of litigation docketing experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment
