Senior Manager/Supervisor

Our client, a top-tier Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Senior Manager, Editorial to play a key role in elevating the firm’s content strategy and brand voice.

We are seeking an experienced editorial professional with a strong background in content review, editorial standards, and cross-functional collaboration in a law firm or professional services environment. This role works closely with the Editorial Director and various internal stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across all written communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and edit a wide range of content, including thought leadership pieces, client alerts, event invitations, and internal communications for style, tone, and brand consistency.
  • Enforce editorial standards across various formats—practice descriptions, attorney bios, internal messaging, and social media content.
  • Draft and revise content for the firm’s website, digital campaigns, and social platforms.
  • Collaborate with business development, marketing, and administrative teams to ensure all content supports firm goals and engages the intended audience.
  • Contribute to the preparation of rankings and awards submissions.
  • Manage multiple editorial workflows and content calendars, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality results.
  • Act as a final quality control resource, maintaining the firm’s editorial voice and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field).
  • Minimum 10 years of editorial, communications, or content development experience within a law firm or professional services environment (required).
  • Extensive experience with AP style and editorial best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable using content management systems and digital publishing tools.
  • Familiarity with legal industry terminology and the nuances of law firm marketing.

Salary and Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $154,000 – $205,000 annually, depending on experience
  • Bonus Eligibility: Yes – Annual performance-based bonus
