Senior Manager/Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Labor and Delivery to lead our Women’s Services department. This individual will oversee daily operations, ensure quality patient care, and support a culture of clinical excellence and compassionate service. The Director will work closely with nursing teams, physicians, and hospital leadership to advance maternal and newborn care within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and support nursing and clinical teams in Labor and Delivery and related Women’s Services units
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards across units
Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient-centered care
Oversee department budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
Support staff education, professional development, and performance evaluations
Act as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, families, and hospital leadership

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of North Carolina
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Strong clinical background in labor and delivery or perinatal services

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MSN, MHA, or MBA)
Minimum of 2 years of leadership or management experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or women’s health
Experience with quality assurance, team building, and strategic planning in a healthcare setting
