Salary: $100,000 - $250,000 (negotiable sign-on bonus and partial relocation assistance)
Overview:
Our client, a national full-service event design, fabrication, and production company, is looking for a skilled Instrument Engineer with significant expertise in Industrial Power Systems. This role involves leading a team of engineers and designers to ensure that electrical and instrumentation projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve all electrical deliverables while monitoring estimates and managing any changes.
- Develop designs and calculate estimates for electrical installations, particularly focused on industrial power systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with client standards.
- Supervise the preparation of drawings and calculations while maintaining project specifications throughout construction.
- Oversee team training, interoffice execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with in-depth knowledge of Industrial Power Systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office, along with familiarity in PLC, HMI, and DCS programming.
