We are seeking a dedicated NICU Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to enhance our 22-bed Level III NICU. This state-of-the-art unit is committed to delivering the highest level of care to premature and critically ill newborns. Our multidisciplinary team includes certified Child Life Specialists, social workers, and expert neonatal providers, all working collaboratively to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced clinical expertise in neonatal nursing to support patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting professional development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care quality.
  • Lead and contribute to research efforts aimed at advancing neonatal nursing practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level III NICU setting.
  • Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).

Preferred:

  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing.
  • Experience in neonatal research and quality improvement projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
