Position Overview: The Director of Cardiovascular Services will oversee all cardiovascular operations, including staff management and mentoring, policy and procedure development, accreditation maintenance, and program budget and productivity oversight.
Location: Dona Ana County, NM (Onsite) - 40 minutes from El Paso
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all cardiovascular operations.
- Manage and mentor staff members.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Ensure and maintain program accreditation.
- Supervise the program’s budget and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA.
- Experience:
- Minimum of seven years in healthcare.
- At least three years in a leadership position.
- Experience in a for-profit hospital is strongly preferred.
- Required: Leadership, program development, budget and productivity management, and clinical experience.
- Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Licensure:
- Required: Current NM RN license.
- Certification:
- Required: BLS and ACLS.
Candidate Requirements:
- Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license.
- Seven years of healthcare experience, including at least three years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, MBA) is strongly preferred.
- Preferred experience in a for-profit hospital.
- Proven ability to build and lead a team focused on quality initiatives.
Salary: $125,000 to $150,000, with a relocation bonus of up to $10,000.
