Key Responsibilities
Lead manufacturing control strategies to optimize plant performance and efficiency
Apply Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce scrap and boost productivity
Conduct process audits, develop actionable improvement plans, and oversee their implementation and follow-up
Prepare and manage capital project proposals, including cost justification and execution
Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues and enhance operational reliability
Leverage injection molding expertise to improve plastics manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Demonstrated experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment
Specific experience in plastics manufacturing, with a focus on injection molding
Proven track record in managing capital projects
Strong communication and analytical skills
Solid business acumen with the ability to apply technical knowledge to practical production challenges
Preferred:
Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Familiarity with advanced process control systems and automation
Salary & Benefits
Base Salary: $104,000 – $117,000
Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus eligibility
Work Setup: Fully onsite in Orlando, FL, or Winchester, KY
Travel: Up to 60% of the time, as required
