Commercial Litigation Senior Counsel

Our client, a top-tier national law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Senior Counsel to join their dynamic litigation team. This is a high-level opportunity for a seasoned litigator with 10+ years of experience to work on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial disputes for major clients across industries. The position is open to candidates based in California and can be based in Los Angeles, Oakland, or fully remote within the state.

You’ll play a critical role in managing complex commercial cases from inception through resolution, with a focus on efficiency, client service, and strategic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including factual investigations, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial prep
• Represent clients in state and federal courts, with additional exposure to administrative proceedings and arbitration
• Draft and review substantive legal documents and correspondence
• Serve as a key liaison between clients, courts, and internal teams
• Support attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit
• Provide strategic legal counsel with a proactive and business-minded approach

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Active California bar license (required)
• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, including complex commercial matters
• Experience handling all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigations through resolution
• Strong familiarity with both state and federal court procedures
• Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strategic thinker with a collaborative, client-first mindset

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $225,000 – $275,000
• Bonus eligible
