Position Title: Director of Nursing
Location: Vancouver, WA (suburb of Portland)
Salary: $111,000 - $150,000

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Director of Nursing to lead and manage the nursing team within their behavioral health facility in Vancouver, WA. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality behavioral health services, including crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. The Director will oversee nursing operations, ensure adherence to the facility’s philosophy of care, and support both staff and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the nursing management team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Implement and support the organization’s philosophy of care and program objectives.
Prepare and review monthly reports on departmental performance and patient outcomes.
Ensure that all nursing practices adhere to state regulations and facility standards.
Promote career growth and development opportunities for nursing staff.
Oversee flexible scheduling and ensure a fully onsite presence to support staff and patient needs.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensing:
- Current, unencumbered nursing license from the State Board of Nursing
Experience:
- Prior experience in behavioral health or psychiatric health settings is required.
- Leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health or psychiatric care is preferred.
