Key Responsibilities
- Manage False Claims Act (FCA) investigations and complex litigation matters
- Provide strategic counsel on health care fraud and abuse laws, including Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law compliance
- Represent clients in high-stakes regulatory and litigation proceedings
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
- Conduct in-depth legal research and develop strategies for FCA and regulatory matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions
- Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 6–10+ years of experience handling FCA matters, including investigations and complex litigation
- Deep knowledge of federal health care fraud and abuse statutes and regulations
- Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Stable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to excellence
Preferred:
- Prior experience at the Department of Justice Civil Fraud Division or a U.S. Attorney’s Office
- Background in advising health care or life sciences clients on regulatory compliance
- Experience with complex litigation in federal courts
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: $300,000 – $600,000 (based on experience)
- Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus eligibility
