We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate to become an integral part of our client's Litigation Business Unit in Atlanta, GA. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for remote work several days per week.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including case assessment, strategy development, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal counsel.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
  • Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in a major law firm or similar legal environment.
  • Demonstrated stability in previous legal positions.
