Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate with 4 to 6 years of experience to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice in Washington, D.C.

The associate will work on complex insurance coverage litigation, including cutting-edge disputes involving environmental and product liability claims.

Salary range: $270,000 to $315,000 a year

Key Responsibilities:

Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and coverage assessments
Manage litigation through all phases—from inception through trial and appeals
Conduct legal research and prepare complex case evaluations
Oversee written discovery, take and defend depositions
Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts
Analyze insurance coverage issues and draft opinion letters

Ideal Candidate Profile:

4 to 6 years of commercial litigation experience (insurance coverage preferred)
Demonstrated interest in insurance, environmental, or product liability law
Excellent legal writing, analysis, and oral advocacy skills
Strong litigation management and client communication skills
Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
Licensed in Washington, D.C. (or eligible to waive in)

Education & Experience:

J.D. from a top-tier law school (class years 2019–2021 only)
Experience at an Am Law 100/200 firm or similar
Strong academic record and stable professional background
