We are seeking an experienced Imaging Supervisor to lead our radiology team in a dynamic, patient-focused environment in Middlebury, Vermont. This hybrid role combines supervisory duties with clinical practice to ensure seamless departmental operations and exceptional care. You’ll help guide a team within a newly unionized workforce, support imaging services with modern equipment (including a new Hologic mammography unit), and contribute to quality and process improvements. Ideal candidates will be ARRT-certified technologists with proven leadership abilities and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations across General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACS.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Perform clinical imaging procedures as needed to maintain department flow and patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison between the team and Radiology Director; communicate departmental needs and challenges.
  • Manage supply inventory and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor and respond to quality control measures daily.
  • Participate in employee training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Support adoption and use of Epic EMR and Visage PACS technologies.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Certificate or Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT(R) certification plus additional certification in CT or Mammography.
  • Eligible for Vermont radiologic technologist licensure.
  • Five (5)+ years of radiology experience.
  • One (1)+ year of supervisory experience.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience supervising in a unionized healthcare environment.
  • ARRT certifications in Radiography, CT, and Mammography.
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Signing Bonus: $15,000, distributed in three payments.
