Top Tier Reps is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with experience in workers’ compensation defense. This role is ideal for attorneys looking to build a long-term career within a supportive, high-performing legal team. You'll manage your caseload from intake through resolution, working directly with employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.

Key Responsibilities

Manage workers’ compensation cases from inception to final resolution
Conduct discovery, hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary
Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Negotiate settlements and attend mediations or conferences
Maintain compliance with statutory deadlines and best practices
Proactively manage files and meet all client and court deadlines

Requirements

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active membership in the State Bar of California
Prior experience in workers’ compensation preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and time management abilities
Commitment to proactive, organized case handling
