We are seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 2–5 years of experience in structured finance to join our client's Capital Markets team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and related financing matters. This role involves direct client interaction, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and collaborating closely with colleagues to manage deal closings.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent a diverse clientele—including banks, finance companies, private equity and hedge funds, and public/private companies—in structured finance transactions.
- Draft and negotiate primary transaction documents and agreements.
- Communicate directly with clients and transaction counterparties to facilitate deals.
- Collaborate with team members to manage transaction closings efficiently.
- Provide additional support to the Capital Markets practice as needed.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- 2–5 years of relevant law firm experience in structured finance.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.
- Strong understanding of purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and related financing matters.
Licensure:
- Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing is required.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
- Base salary ranges from $235,000 to $365,000, following the 2nd to 5th-year lockstep scale.
