Position: Mammography Technician (Full-Time, Days)

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Completion of an accredited Mammography Technology program is required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Must hold a current license or temporary license issued by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R) certification is required.
- Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M) certification is required.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Proficiency in safely lifting and/or maneuvering patients, with assistance when necessary, to perform required job functions.
- Demonstrated commitment to a culture of care, embodying the values of innovation, accountability, empowerment, collaboration, compassion, and results in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mammography radiographic examinations while adhering to all radiation safety protocols. This includes patient preparation, procedure explanation, contrast administration when necessary, patient positioning, selection of appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring the technical quality of images.
- Accurately enter and monitor patient data.
- Perform quality assurance checks on mammography equipment and assist with initial and renewal applications for ACR and other accreditations.
- Report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management promptly.
- Provide emergency on-call support within the department as needed.
- Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including time management, supply management, productivity, and quality of service.
- Promote professional growth and development by fulfilling mandatory continuing education and skills competency requirements. Act as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $95,000, with partial relocation assistance available. This is an onsite role.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Mammography Technology.
- Current license or temporary license issued by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R) certification.
- Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M) certification.
