Our client, a global leader in mobile modular power, temperature control, and energy services, is looking for a Sales Representative – Mining Sector to support growth in the GTA and Quebec regions. This role offers a hybrid model, with flexibility to work from home or a local service center, while also conducting in-person visits to client sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle field sales within the mining sector, and a proven ability to build and grow customer accounts in a structured corporate sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute remote and in-person sales strategies across the GTA and Quebec
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining sector
- Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals and product demonstrations
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Build and sustain long-term relationships through regular client engagement
- Recommend tailored energy solutions to meet customer-specific needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Proven track record of achieving or surpassing a $4M annual sales target
- Extensive experience in solution-based, full-cycle field sales
- Industry experience in mining and related sectors (e.g., general contractors, power generation, rental equipment)
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, power generators, energy storage systems, and load banks
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce)
Preferred Experience
- Previous sales experience in mining or servicing the mining industry
- Experience with accounts requiring a quota of $2 million or more
- Background in power or rental generation solutions
