Our client is looking for a Radiation Therapist in Houston. You will be responsible for various aspects of radiation therapy treatment, including simulating treatment setups, performing dosimetric calculations, administering radiation therapy treatments, and supporting patient care management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
License/Certification: Certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technologists (ARRT-T), and licensed by the Texas Department of Health (CMRT).

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

Proficient in lifting and maneuvering patients as necessary for job tasks.

Principal Accountabilities:

Simulation of treatment setups as directed by physicians.
Conduct dosimetric calculations under supervision, utilizing manual or computerized methods.
Accurate delivery of prescribed radiation therapy courses.
Assist in Brachytherapy procedures.
Perform warm-up and safety checks on treatment machines/simulators, reporting any issues.
Verify dose accuracy through measurement checks, reporting discrepancies.
Ensure safety for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Support professional growth and development through mandatory education and skills competency.
Uphold service standards by providing compassionate, personalized, and efficient care experiences.
Perform other assigned duties.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $88,296.00 to $124,675.00
Sign-on Bonus: $1500
Full relocation assistance provided

Reporting: Reports to the Manager of Imaging Services Radiation Therapy.
