Our client is seeking an experienced and certified Radiation Therapist to join their team. If you're a skilled professional in delivering radiation therapy with a commitment to patient care, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and licensed by the state of New Mexico (or eligible for licensure)
CPR certification required
3-5 years of experience preferred
Knowledgeable of safety standards and operational methods of ionizing radiation equipment
Ability to handle radiation sources safely

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate ionizing radiation equipment to treat neoplastic diseases and other therapeutic purposes
Perform high-quality radiation therapy in line with protocols and under the guidance of Radiation Oncologists
Prepare patients for treatments including simulations and fabrication of treatment devices
Perform quality assurance on linear accelerators and CT simulators
Record treatment delivery in the hospital and Radiation Oncology EMR systems
Participate in on-call procedures as needed
Communicate with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort
