Our client is seeking a Counsel for our Labor & Employment Department in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate should possess over 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
Must be licensed to practice law in California.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Experience in defending against single plaintiff litigation, encompassing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and reasonable accommodation cases.
Proficiency in handling PAGA matters.
Familiarity with class action lawsuits.
Capability to manage cases independently from inception to resolution.
Strong research, writing, and academic credentials.
Expertise in drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
Skill in drafting and arguing motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
Experience in conducting and defending depositions, including those of plaintiffs and corporate witnesses.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations for employment counseling.
While a smaller portable book is desirable, it is not mandatory.
