Our client, a leading global manufacturing company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Social Circle, GA. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while supporting plant operations to produce high-quality products efficiently.

Primary Purpose:
The Electrical Engineer will oversee the design, installation, modification, and maintenance of plant equipment, buildings, and facilities. The role involves tracking engineering expenses, ensuring capital budgeting compliance, and supporting production to achieve cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement: Use improvement tools to analyze product issues, propose solutions, and lead cost-saving initiatives.
  • Team Support: Train and assist team members on the production floor.
  • Performance Management: Identify performance issues and recommend strategies for cost and waste reduction.
  • Project Management: Assist with cost estimates, project justification, budgeting, design reviews, and oversee installations.
  • Research and Development: Investigate new equipment, systems, and processes to enhance plant operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Contractor Oversight: Manage contractors and audit their work to ensure adherence to safety practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years in multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Preferred experience in equipment design, project engineering, or plant management.

Skills:

  • Proficiency with computer-based technology, CAD drawings, and schematics.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • Experience programming and debugging programming languages, with strong troubleshooting skills for machine problems.
  • Knowledge in designing electrical control systems and modern safety control systems.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $76,000 to $142,000, with full relocation assistance and negotiable sign-on bonus.
