Practice Manager - Investigations, White Collar & Antitrust
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly skilled Practice Manager to support its Investigations, White Collar, and Antitrust practices in Washington, DC.
This leadership role will act as a chief of staff to practice chairs and collaborate across departments including Finance, Talent, Business Development, Innovation, IT, and Communications to drive strategic goals, optimize operations, and enhance client service.
Salary: $165,000 – $214,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution: Collaborate with practice group leadership to develop and implement growth, revenue, and reputation-enhancing strategies.
Financial & Performance Analytics: Track and analyze key financial, productivity, and timekeeper metrics. Translate data into actionable insights.
Attorney Staffing & Development: Manage attorney work allocation, onboarding, and professional development in coordination with the Talent team.
Client Service & Legal Operations: Serve as liaison to client legal operations teams, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.
Operational Oversight: Oversee budgeting, billing, matter management, internal meetings, and communication for daily practice operations.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with departments to lead innovation initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure aligned business operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of practice management experience within a law firm required.
Experience supporting Investigations, White Collar, or Antitrust practices strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA highly preferred.
Strong financial, operational, and leadership acumen.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
