We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Associate with 3–6 years of post-law school experience to join the Finance & Restructuring Practice Group of a nationally recognized law firm. This opportunity is available in multiple office locations across the U.S. and offers a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, with a focus on representing financial institutions and borrowers in a range of commercial finance transactions, including loan originations and real estate financings.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related legal documents
Advise clients on covenant compliance and loan administration
Lead due diligence processes and coordinate with specialist teams
Provide strategic guidance throughout all phases of commercial finance transactions
Deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Required Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school
3–6 years of experience in corporate finance or commercial finance transactions
Prior experience representing financial institutions and borrowers
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Excellent academic credentials
Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and efficiently
Must be admitted to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible for prompt admission

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with real estate financings
Exposure to restructuring or distressed financing transactions is a plus
Experience advising private credit funds and/or public and private companies

Salary & Benefits:

Base Salary: $180,000 – $315,000, commensurate with experience and location
