We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our dedicated oncology care team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be a certified, licensed professional with at least 3 years of hands-on experience delivering therapeutic radiation treatments to patients in a compassionate and precise manner.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist.
Operate and maintain radiation treatment equipment, including linear accelerators and simulation systems.
Accurately position patients using immobilization devices and verify treatment areas using imaging and setup protocols.
Monitor patient conditions during treatment and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.
Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in the electronic health record system.
Perform daily quality assurance (QA) checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and nurses to provide coordinated patient care.
Uphold safety standards, including radiation protection for patients and staff.
Educate and support patients throughout their radiation therapy journey.

Must-Haves

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
Certified Radiation Therapist by the ARRT (ARRT-T).
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting.

Nice-To-Haves

Experience working in an academic medical center or high-volume oncology clinic.
Proficiency with treatment planning and record-and-verify systems (e.g., Eclipse, ARIA).
Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations with compassion and professionalism.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Additional Information

Shift schedules may vary slightly based on patient load, but typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
This role does not support visa sponsorship at this time.
