We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our dedicated oncology care team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be a certified, licensed professional with at least 3 years of hands-on experience delivering therapeutic radiation treatments to patients in a compassionate and precise manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist.
- Operate and maintain radiation treatment equipment, including linear accelerators and simulation systems.
- Accurately position patients using immobilization devices and verify treatment areas using imaging and setup protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions during treatment and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in the electronic health record system.
- Perform daily quality assurance (QA) checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and nurses to provide coordinated patient care.
- Uphold safety standards, including radiation protection for patients and staff.
- Educate and support patients throughout their radiation therapy journey.
Must-Haves
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Certified Radiation Therapist by the ARRT (ARRT-T).
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting.
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience working in an academic medical center or high-volume oncology clinic.
- Proficiency with treatment planning and record-and-verify systems (e.g., Eclipse, ARIA).
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations with compassion and professionalism.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Additional Information
- Shift schedules may vary slightly based on patient load, but typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
