Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Cath/EP staff and assistant managers.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital educational and training requirements.
- Foster effective communication with patients, physicians, and internal departments.
- Organize and oversee nursing care, ensuring adequate staffing and high-quality patient care.
- Propose and manage departmental budgets and staffing plans.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of management experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related area.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with one of the following:
- Four (4) years of Cardiac Cath Lab management experience.
- A combination of four (4) years of post-high school education and Cardiac Cath Lab management experience.
- For Registered Nurses: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Department Highlights
- Performed over 4,000 Cath Lab procedures (Diagnostic and Interventional) in 2017.
- Conducted more than 1,500 EP cases in 2017.
- Services include both pediatric and adult patients.
- Operating 3 Cath Labs, 1 hybrid lab for TAVR, and 2 EP labs, with plans to expand.
- Developing a pediatric cardiovascular procedural space with hybrid OR/Cath Lab and EP capabilities.
- Establishing a vascular lab for vascular surgeries and aortic cases.
- Emphasis on efficient day-to-day operations and strong leadership presence.
