Top Tier Reps is looking for a Commercial Litigation Associate on behalf of an Am Law 100 firm in Washington, DC. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice focused on high-level insurance coverage litigation, including coverage assessments and dispute resolution in the areas of environmental and product liability.

Key Responsibilities

Draft complex case evaluations, pleadings, motions, and litigation documents
Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
Oversee written discovery and depositions
Interface with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel
Provide detailed insurance coverage opinions and assessments

Qualifications

4–6 years of complex litigation experience (insurance coverage experience preferred but not required)
Interest in insurance law, environmental liability, and emerging litigation risks
Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Proven case management and client communication experience
Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship experience is a plus
Licensed and in good standing in Washington, DC

Salary & Benefits

Base salary between $270,000 – $315,000, commensurate with experience

Additional Requirements

Law school graduation between 2019 and 2021
