We are seeking an experienced International Trade & Supply Chain Associate with a minimum of four years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory matters pertaining to transportation, cargo, and logistics sectors.
This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the supply chain, including shippers, motor carriers, rail companies, and ocean vessels.
Specific experience in maritime regulatory compliance, licensing, and interactions with the Federal Maritime Commission is essential. The associate will work closely with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit to address complex legal and regulatory challenges in the transportation and logistics industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance related to international trade and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders within the transportation and logistics sectors.
- Handle matters involving the Federal Maritime Commission, including licensing and compliance issues.
- Work in tandem with the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of four years of experience in international trade and supply chain legal matters.
- Proven experience with regulatory compliance in transportation, cargo, and logistics sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders such as shippers, motor carriers, rail companies, and ocean vessels.
- Specific experience in maritime regulatory compliance and dealings with the Federal Maritime Commission.
- Active bar license in the state corresponding to the office location (Denver, Oakland, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC).
- Strong academic record, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
