We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our cardiology team. In this role, you will perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired heart conditions in children. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Perform transthoracic echocardiograms on pediatric patients, including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
Capture and analyze high-quality cardiac ultrasound images for physician review
Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists and other care team members to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and image storage
Ensure all procedures comply with established safety and infection control standards
Provide family-centered care with sensitivity and compassion
Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in pediatric echocardiography

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program
Certification in one of the following:
- RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer)
- RCCS (Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer)
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
- RDCS with a Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) specialty
Demonstrated experience or formal post-graduate training in pediatric echocardiography
- Note: This position is not open to new graduates or candidates without pediatric scanning experience.

Preferred Qualifications

BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with digital PACS systems and electronic medical records (EMRs)
