Location: Onsite in Carrollton, GA
Salary: $110,000 – $130,000
Travel: Up to 35% (Including International Travel)

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Process and Control Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation and control systems for industrial equipment. This role involves working hands-on with combustion management systems, troubleshooting PLC process and control systems, and collaborating closely with technicians on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation systems, including PLCs, drive systems, and combustion controls
- Program SCADA and operator interfaces while integrating databases for system monitoring
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical component issues to ensure optimal system performance
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including electrical schematics and manuals using CAD
- Develop cost estimates and budgets for electrical systems
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for operation and maintenance
- Lead on-site commissioning, provide system training, and support customer teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and/or operations of PLC process and control systems for combustion management systems
- At least five years of experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry, working with industrial processing equipment
- Expertise in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs and drive systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SCADA systems, and HMI applications
- Strong background in computer programming, networking, database management, and reporting
- Ability to serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert
- Willing to travel internationally up to 35 percent
- Strong communication, organizational, presentation, and project management skills
