Position: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Mobile, Alabama
Salary: $125,000 to $175,000 (negotiable, with relocation and sign-on bonus)
Note: Onsite position; may consider sponsorship

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a prominent engineering firm. This role involves overseeing a team of engineers and designers to ensure the timely delivery of civil and structural projects while adhering to budget and quality standards. The Senior Structural Engineer will provide technical leadership on complex assignments, manage project controls for cost, schedule, and quality, and operate with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of civil and structural deliverables, ensuring high quality and compliance with project requirements.
Review and approve project estimates, designs, and specifications.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with project scope.
Delegate tasks, monitor project progress, and maintain effective communication with the team and clients.
Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulations, and client specifications.
Oversee drafting and design processes, verifying calculations and drawings for accuracy.
Prepare bid packages and construction specifications.
Mentor and support team development and training initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with required coursework in Structural Engineering.
At least 15 years of experience in civil and structural engineering.
Professional registration is preferred.
Strong understanding of engineering standards, CAD software (AutoCAD/Microstation), and project management tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and virtual collaboration skills.
