Our client is a premier Am Law 100 law firm with a strong global footprint. Known for its sophisticated legal services and innovative approach, the firm is committed to leveraging digital strategy to drive client engagement and business growth.

The firm is seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director of Digital Marketing to lead and advance its digital platforms and strategy. Based in New York City with a hybrid work arrangement, this senior leadership role will manage a team and collaborate closely with Business Development, IT, and firm leadership to elevate the firm’s digital presence across website, CRM, EMS, and social media.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and refine the firm’s digital marketing strategy, with a focus on website experience, CRM optimization, email marketing systems, and social media platforms
  • Develop and manage a high-performing digital marketing team, overseeing hiring, coaching, and career progression
  • Collaborate with Business Development, IT, and Communications to evolve the digital marketing roadmap and support strategic business goals
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality content delivery across all digital channels in coordination with design, editorial, and BD stakeholders
  • Oversee CRM adoption and engagement, ensuring clean, strategic data use that supports client development efforts
  • Manage digital vendor relationships, agency partnerships, and the digital marketing budget
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices; identify innovative strategies that enhance the firm’s competitive positioning
  • Monitor performance metrics and use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to inform decisions and demonstrate ROI

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in website CMS platforms (preferably Sitecore), CRM systems (e.g., InterAction), and EMS platforms
  • Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and marketing automation tools
  • Proven experience developing and implementing digital product roadmaps
  • Outstanding writing and editorial skills; ability to communicate data and insights clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work closely with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep knowledge of law firm operations, client expectations, and digital marketing in the legal sector

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in digital or professional services marketing
  • At least 5 years of management experience, ideally in an Am Law 100 firm or similar legal/professional services environment

Salary & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $180,000–$260,000, commensurate with experience
