We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join a leading financial institution’s Commercial Lending Division in Broomfield, CO.
This hybrid opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in commercial lending, an established loan portfolio, and a passion for building lasting financial partnerships within the local business community.
You’ll work closely with an award-winning team, driving loan growth, managing key relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions that support business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively market and originate commercial loan opportunities to meet growth and production goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the loan process—from application to closing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members, partners, and referral sources
- Represent the institution in the local business community, enhancing brand visibility and trust
- Ensure all loan applications are processed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with internal and regulatory standards
- Cross-sell additional financial products and services to address client needs
- Manage an assigned commercial loan portfolio, including timely reviews, renewals, and risk assessments
- Stay up to date on lending regulations, market trends, and financial products
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve the commercial lending experience
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial or business lending within a financial services environment
- Demonstrated success in a sales-focused, production role
- Deep knowledge of commercial lending products, underwriting, and compliance regulations
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Must have an existing commercial loan portfolio
- Must currently reside in Colorado and be able to work a hybrid schedule (on-site ~50%)
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: $85,000 – $107,000 base + commission (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus: Performance-based commission structure

Candidate Requirements
- Must have a strong, stable background in commercial lending, preferably within a progressive financial institution
- Existing commercial loan portfolio required
- Candidates without experience in sales-driven financial services environments will not be considered
